Mrs. Angie L. COLE, age 90, formerly of Tampico, Illinois, died Tuesday eveing, February 15, 2000, at the Walnut Manor Nursing Home.

 

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the Tampico United Methodist Church, with Rev. Linda Hood, pastor officiating. Burial will be in Tampico Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Garland funeral Home in Tampico with Eastern Star services at 7:30 p.m. A memorial has been established in her memory to the Tampci United Methodist Chruch and the Tampico Ambualnce Service.

 

Mrs. COLE was born on February 15, 1910, in Bingham, Illinois, the daughter of Chester and Hallie Lovelace HALFORD. She was united in marriage to Thomas Elbert COLE, January 8, 1928 at Bingham, Ilinois, and he preceded her in death on December 25, 1990.

 

She was a member of th Tampico United Methodist Church and the Marth Circle at the church, and the O. E. S. Minerva Chapter #6 in Prophetstown, Illinois. She also enjoyed sewing and gardening.

 

She is survived by two sons, Denver (Joyce) COLE of Tampico, llinois, and William (June)  COLE of Hillsday, Illinois, two daughters Mrs. Roy (mary Lou) HANEY of Tampico, Illinois, Mrs. Robert (Lois0 Laudie of Olathe, Kansas; 15 grandchildren; 23 grandchildre; two geat great grandchildre; one brother, Errott HALFORD of Ramsy, Illinois; four sisters, Mrs. Carl (Verneva) ROBERTS of Vandalia, Illinois, Ethel HOFFMAN of Ramsey, Illinois, Eugenia FISHER of Ramsey, Illinois, Mrs. William (Oneida) MORELAND of Princeton, Illinois and numerous nieces and nephews.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son Lowell, five grandchildren and two sisters Inez and Odessa.
