Zeita M. Wolfe, age 87, of the Sterling Pavilion, formerly of Tampico, Illinois, died Saturday evening, August 1, 1998 at CGH Medical Center in Sterling.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 1998 at Garland Funeral Home in Tampico at 2 p.m. with Rev. Harold Williamson, pastor of the Community Church of Christ in Rock Falls officiating. Burial will be in the Tampico Memorial Cemetery in Tampico. A memorial has been established in her memory. Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m., the day of the funeral at Garlands.
Mrs. Wolfe was born on February 20, 1911 at Dunlap, Illiois, the daughter of Frank and Mabel Rasmussen. United in marriage to W. Harrison Wolfe on December 19, 1934 at Princeton, Illinois. He preceded her indeath on April 11, 1981.
Zeita was a waitress and cook at Tampico restaurants as well as a farm wife. She was also a member of Yorktown Church of Christ.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Mary June Rippy of Sterling, Illinois; two grandsons, Lonnie Robinett III of Rock Falls, Illinois and Lunn Robinett of Sterling, Illinois; two great=grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Cauldwell of Edelstein, Illinois and Lulu Thomson of Walnut, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one sister, Vera Beachler.
