OBITUARY

Mr. Jay D. FARWELL, age 57, of 1640 Freeport Road, Deer Grove, Illinois, died Tuesday, October 31, 1989 in C. G. H. Medical Center in Sterling, Illinois.

Mr. FARWELL was born on October 30, 1932 in Coleta, Illinois, the son of William MACK and Leota FRANKFOTHER FARWELL. He was united in marriage to Georgia STIER SCHULTZ on August 18, 1989 in Iowa City, Iowa. He was self-employed in the construction business in the Tampico and Deer Grove area during his lifetime.

He survived by his wife, Georgia of Deer Grove, two sons, Brad FARWELL of Mesa, Arizona and Jeff FARWELL of Hoffman Estates, IL; two daughters; Jody FARWELL of Dallas, Texas and Gina PECK of Galesburg, IL; one stepson, Joe SCHULTZ of Deer Grove, IL; his mother, Leota FARWELL of Sterling; two grandchildren; two sisters, Darlene SCHAUFF of Deer Grove, IL, and Clara MEINERS of Sterling, IL; one brother, William FARWELL of Grand Detour, IL; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father.
