LYNDON- Rodney J. Bannick, 63 of Lyndon, died Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria. Mr. Bannick was born August 23, 1944 in Brooklyn, NY the son of Louis and Audrey (Goreham) Bannick. He was a bus driver for Self Help for 7 years, retiring in 1996. He attended Lyndon United Methodist Church and enjoyed flying, fishing, animals and being outdoors. Survivors include his wife, Sally of Lyndon; 2 daughters Heide (Bill) Henson of Monticello, WI and Tammy Banick of Bolingbrook; a son, Allen (Cindy) Bannick of Walnut; 4 grandchildren, Jessie and Jason Henson and Nicole and Katie Bannick. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Patricia in infancy, and a son, Michael in infancy. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, in McDonald Funeral Home, Prophetstown. Burial will follow at Lyndon Township Cemetery. Visitation is Friday from 4-7 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established. |
