Mrs. Phyllis L. Farnham, age 65, of 313 Booth Street, Tampico, IL died Saturday evening, October 2, 1993 in St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in Tampico United Methodist Church, with Rev. Mary Ann Kvapil, pastor officiating. Burial will be in Tampico Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday at the Garland Funeral Home in Tampico from 5-8 p.m. with O. E. S. services at 7:45 p.m. A memorial has been established in her memory to the Tampico United Methodist Church Building Fund.
Mrs. Farnham was born on February 21. 1928 in Iberia, MO, the daughter of Leslie and Ruth Arnold Jones. She was united in marriage to Jack Farnham on June 20, 1947 in St. Louis, MO. She was a teacher's aid at Bi-County Special Co-op for about eight years and retired about five years ago.
She was a member of the Tampico O. E. S. Tampico United Methodist Church, the Rebecca Circle at the church, and the UMW at the church.
She is survived by her husband, Jack of Tampico; three daughters: Mrs. Norman (Patricia) Rittenhouse of Fairbury, IL, Mrs. Robert (Karen) Garrett of Geneseo, IL, and Mrs. Marc (Cynthia) Melton of Tampico, IL; one son: Rodney (Shirley) Farnham of Mishawaka, IN; ten grandchildren; one great-grandson; one brother: Doyle Jones of St. Louis, MO; one sister: Mrs. John (Eva Jo) Grady of Iberia, MO; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
