Fred Barradell Former Resident Dies In Chicago
Prophetstown: - Fred Barradell, 76, former area resident, passed away at Passavant Memorial Hospital, Chicago, at 9 a.m. Sunday. He was a retired bank examiner.
He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert Barradell of Prophetstown.
He is survived by his wife of Chicago; nieces, Mrs. Louis Boone and Mrs. Donald Woodworth, both of Prophetstown, in addition to several other nieces and nephews.
He was preceded by five sisters, May Brown, Elizabeth Seyller, Edith Johnson, Emma Barradell and Ethel Epperson; and two brothers, Bert and Will.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Paul Olson of First Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gardner Funeral Chapel Wednesday morning.
