Mrs. M. Christensen, Rural Tampico, Dies
 
Mrs. Matilda Elizabeth Christensen of RFD 2, Tampico, died Monday afternoon in the Rest Haven Nursing Home in Dixon at the age of 94.
 
Mrs. Christensen was born Feb. 10, 1871, in Princeton, the daughter of the late Gustave and Mary Larson Peterson.  She was a member of the Tampico Methodist Church for over 70 years. She was united in marriage to Christen Christensen, who preceded her in death Nov. 16, 1934.  They had farmed many years in the Tampico area.
 
She is survived by one son, Charles, of RFD 2, Tampico; three daughters, Miss Clara Marie, Miss Evelyn Mae, and Miss Myrtle Christena Christensen, all of RFD 2, Tampico; several nieces and nephews.
 
She was preceded by her husband and four brotheers.
 
Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Wheelock-Allen Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Baumeister, pastor of the Tampico Methodist Church, officiating, with burial in Tampico Memorial Cemetery.
 

Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Wednesday.

Mrs. Christensen Services Thursday
 
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Wheelock-Allen Funeral Home for Mrs. Matilda Christensen of rural Tampico, who died Monday.  Rev. Roger Baumeister of the Tampico Methodist Church officiated, with burial in Tampico Memorial Cemtery.
 
Mrs. Wayne E. Larson was at the organ with Mrs. Raymond Stroup singing In The Garden and Abide With Me.
 
Pallbearers were Harry Thompson, Garnett Price, Dkon Hubbard, Marvin Deetz, Paul Wetzell and Alfred Sandrock.
