Committal Services For Mrs. A. Rector
Prophetstown: - Committal rites were held in Riverside Cemetery Tuesday afternoon for Mrs. Arthur Rector of Yates City. Mrs. Rector, formerly Esther LaDine, whose parents were the late Alfred and Clara LaDine of Prophetstown, passed away Saturday in the home of her brother and sister-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. C. B. LaDine, in Indianapolis, Ind. Mrs. Rector had been critically ill the last three months.
Survivors include a son and a daughter, Lee Rector of California, Mrs. Mario Goff of Highland Park, three grandchildren, a brother, Doctor LaDine; two sisters, Mrs. Helen McCormick of Oxnard, Calif., and Mrs. Mabel Davis of Chicago. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Rector was preceded in death by her husband and a brother.
Approximately 25 relatives and friends from Indianapolis, Chicago, Highland Park., Yates City, Loves Park, Rock Island, Morrison, Clinton and Prophetstown gathered in the Melvin Moore home following the services. Assisting with serving included Mrs. Lee Schipper of Morrison and Mrs. Max Buck.
