JUDITH M. CHURCH

Judith M. Church, 65, of Lyndon, IL passed away Monday, February 25. 2008 at Good Samaritan  Center, Prophetstown, IL. Funeral services were held Friday, February 29, 2008 at the Lyndon United Methodist Church, Lyndon with Pastor Justin L. Jamis, pastor officiating. Burial was in Lyndon Township Cemetery, Lyndon. Gibson Funeral Home, Prophetstown, IL was in charge of arrangements.

Judith was born September 2, 1942 in Morrison, IL to Donald J. and Doris M. (Nice) Pilgrim. She attended the Lyndon, IL grade school and graduated from Lyndon Hight School. She attended Black Hawk Community College, Moline, IL and graduated from Moline Business School in Moline.

She married Kenneth J. Church on April 6, 1942 in Morrison, IL. He survives.

Judi was employed as a secretary her entire life with local attorneys, Henry Pratt and Company in Dixon, IL and most recently Phillips and Johnson in Lyndon, IL.

Judi was a member of the Lyndon United Methodist Church, Lyndon. She served on the Lyndon Village Board from 2001-2007.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth; four sons: Kerry Church, Lyndon; Kevin (Carmen) Church, Morrison, IL; Kurt (Dawn) Church, Spring Valley, IL and Kristopher (Jennifer) Church, Morrison, IL; 13 grandchildren; one sister, Debbie (Ms. Russel) Toland, Hampton, IL; two brothers, Jerry (Joanne) Pilgrim, Davenport, IA and Ronald (Mary) Pilgrim, Morrison, IL.

She was predeceased by her parents.
