WALNUT -- Elizabeth J. Andersen, 77, of 309 Depot St., Walnut, died Thursday, April 3, 2008, at Perry Memorial Hospital, Princeton. She was employed by Harper Wyman, Princeton, and Peerless Level and Dave's Super Valu, Walnut.
Mrs. Anderson was born Feb. 21, 1931, in Harmon, the daughter of Lawrence and Dorothy (Pugsley) Hill. She married Donald D. Andersen on March 28, 1948, in Walnut. He preceded her in death on Nov. 15, 2002. She was a member of Walnut United Methodist Church.
Survivors include five sons, David (Kathy) Andersen, of Dixon, Rick (Mary) Andersen, of Sterling, Greg (Jan) Andersen, of Geneseo, and Terry (Mary Sue) Andersen, and Harry Andersen, both of Walnut; a daughter, Donette Andersen, of Walnut; two brothers, John (Carol) Stauter, of Sterling, and James Stauter, of Walnut; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She also was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister-in-law, Carol Sue Stauter.
Memorial service is at 2 p.m. Sunday at Walnut United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Paul Nolden officiating. Burial of cremains is at Walnut Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Garland Funeral Home, Walnut.
