WELL KNOWN COUPLE TOOK WEDDING VOWS
MISS MARY ELLEN TERRY AND A. M. GHOLSON MARRIED SATURDAY
Miss Mary Ellen TERRY, only daughter of Dr. and Mrs. H. A. TERRY, and A. M. GHOLSON were united in marriage Saturday morning at 9:00 o'clock at St. Mary's parish home, Rev. Fr. T. O. McGUIRE performing the single ring ceremony.
Those present for the service were the bride's parents and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. EDWARDS, brother-in-law and sister of the groom. The wedding breakfast was served to the immediate family at the TERRY home following the ceremony.
Mrs. GHOLSON was born in Tampico and attended Mount St. Claire high school in Clinton, Iowa, for two years, the DeKalb Teachers' college for two years and graduated from Mount St. Claire college in 1931. She has just completed her fourth year teaching the Reeves school east of Tampico and will teach the same school for another year.
Mr. GHOLSON has lived in this community for nearly two years and has made many friends who join in wishing he and his bride every happiness.
The young couple left Saturday for Columbia Junction, Iowa, where the groom is employed for the summer by the Cameron-Joyce Construction company. The will return to Tampico in the fall, where they will make their home.
