Miss Dana Belle POWELL  of Hooppole, and Lester JOHNSON of Thomas were quietly married at the Manlius Baptist parsonage, Rev. BUTLER officiating, Saturday evening. Mr. an Mrs. Asael TONKINSON were present at the ceremony. The bride, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles POWELL of Hooppole, is an estimable young lady, who has made many friends, here in the short time she has been in the community. The groom, the son of Peter C. JOHNSON of Thomas, was born and reared here and has a large circle of friends here. They will make their home on the Peter C. JOHNSON farm whre Lester will farm with his father. The friends here extend congratulations to the young couple.
