POPULAR YOUNG PEOPLE TOOK WEDDING VOWS
Miss Evelyn Coggins Became Bride of Chris Rassmussen Last Tuesday Eve
At Sheffield, on Tuesday, Dec. 31, at the hour of 4 p.m., Miss Evelyn Marie COGGINS became the bride of J. Chris RASSMUSSEN. The ceremony was perfomed at the St. Patrick’s parsonage by Rev. W. M. MURTAUGH. The couple was attended by Miss Kathleen RUNST of Sheffield and Neil HAMBLOCK of Tampico. Both bride and bridesmaid were attired in gowns of brown with accessories to match. After the ceremonty, a wedding supper was given at the home of the parents of the bride.
The bride is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James COGGINS of Sheffield and has been for some time past employed as one of the operators at the telephone office in Sheffield. She is quite well known in this vicinity and has by her pleasing personality, made friends wherever she has been.
The groom is the only son of Sena RASMUSSEN and is a farmer by occupation. He also has a host of friends who join in wishing him and his chosen helpmeet (sic) a long and happy wedded life. The Tornado also joins with the friends tin wishing them a pleasant journey thru (sic) life.
Mr. and Mrs. RASSMUSSEN will make their home on the farm of the groom’s mother south of town where they will be at home to their friends after March 1. 1930.
