YOUNG COUPLES EXCHANGED VOWS
Miss Janice PIERCESON, daughter of Mr. and Mrs John Pierceson, Sr. of Rock Falls, formerly of Tampico, and Jerry CRENSHAW, son of Mr. and Mrs. Forrest GELSINGER of Rock Falls, were married at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, March 23rd, in the home of the bride's parents, west of Rock Falls. the double-ring ceremony was read by Ellis BEEMAN of the Tampico Church of Christ.
Attendants were Miss Donna GELSINGER, sister of the bridegroom and Paul EBENEZER, friend of the couple.
The bride wore a rose suit with nave accessories and a white orchid corsage. Her maid of honor was attired in a navy suite with red accessories and had a red rose corsage. The men wore yellow carnation boutonnieres.
Mrs. PIERCESON, chose a blue print dress with navy accessories and Mrs. GELSINGER wore a navy dress with black accessories. Their corsages were white carnations.
A reception followed the ceremony. Mrs. John PIERCESON, Jr., sister-in-law of the bride, served the wedding cake after the initial cut was made by the bridal pair. It was a two-tiered cake decorated in yellow, with rose trim, and topped with a bridal ornament. Mrs. Glenn PIERCESON, another sister-in-law of the bride, and Mrs. Nellie HEINTZELMAN, aunt of the bride, served. Yellow organdy aprons were gifts from the ride to those assisting.
Miss Sally GELSINGER had charge of the bride's book.
The newlyweds are residing with the bride's parents.
