The Hackett-Karn Wedding
A very pretty wedding occured Wednesday at high noon at the home of Mrs. Sarah HACKETT four miles south of Tampico. Miss Fannie HACKETT was united to Mr. Wendall A. KARN, the ceremony being perfomred by Rev. Guy L. ZERBY, pastor of the Tampico Chirstian church. The wedding march was played by Mrs. BOOTH and thre were about sixty guests present to see the couple joined inn the bonds of matrimony. A fine wedding dinner was served after the friends and relatives had finished showering the couple with congratulations and best wishes.
The bride is a daughter of Mrs. Sarah HACKETT who resides south of Tampico. She is a splendid young lady and has many acqyaintances amongh whom she i popular and well liked. Mr. KARN, the groom, has resided in this vicinity for seeral years coming here from Kentucky. He is industrius and has good habits and is an excellent young man. The many friends of Mr and Mrs. KARN extend congratulations and wish them a bright future.
Mr. and Mrs. KARN left Thursday morning on a wedding trip to his old home in Kentucky. A number of beautiful presents were received by the couple.
