FERN VAN DeMARK & LOUIS VAIL
PLIGHT VOWS AT CHURCH SUNDAY
Miss Fern Van De Mark Is Bride of Louis Vail
At 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon in the Fourth Street Methodist church, Miss Fern Van DeMark and Louis Vail were united in matrimony. Rev. Harry Hostetter officiated at the simple ceremony which was witnessed by only the immediate relatives and friends. The attendants were Miss La Vonne Van De Mark of Racine, Wis., and Virgil Vail of Dixon, sister and brother of the young couple.
Miss Virginia Weaver was at the organ to play the wedding march and recessional. Two selections, "Oh Promise Me" and "At Dawning," were beautifully sung by Miss Mary Stager.
The bride's gown was ivory satin. She wore a tulle veil and carried a prayer book. Miss Van DeMark, the bridesmaid, was attired in a pastel chiffon gown with a tulle turban. Her flowers were arranged in a colonial bouquet.
Mr. and Mrs. Vail have left on a wedding trip to Fort Wayne, Ind., after which they will go to their new home in Lincoln. Both young people are well known here and popular in the social circles. Mrs. Vail is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred S. Van De Mark and Mr. Vail is the son of Mr. and Mrs. B. L. Vail. They have the best wishes of many friends for future happiness.
