GEORGE MCCORMICK was born in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, in 1811, and came to Portland in 1838. He married Miss Lucinda BROOKS, their children being: Frank, Nettie, Mary, Charles, Belle, Lucy, Frederick, Richard, Gertrude, and Einice, all living in Prophetstown.
