BIRTHDAY HONOREE
Mr. and Mrs. Edwin A. Pierce of Tampico entertained at a fish fry in thier home Tuesday evening honoring the latter's father, G. W. Glassburn in observance of his birthday anniversary. The unexpected arrival of Mrs. Ina Ferris  of  Yorktown, sister of Mr. Glassburn, was a surprise to him and made the affair more enjoyable to all. The centerpiece of hte table was a large white cake prettily decorated with green and topped with candies. After the candies were lit Mrs. Ferris gave a toast to her brother. Those present were Mrs. Ferris of Yortown; Mr. & Mrs. G. W. Glassburn and son Gordon, Mr. And Mrs. K. L. Glassburn, and Mr. and Mrs. Edwin A. Pierce and son Gordon.
