Our schools started out with their new supplies last week.
Mr. Gus Hein and family of Clinton, Ia., were visting relatives and friends east of town last week.
An organ was put in the Deer Grove school this week.
The Catholic fair is still in session, but the attendance is rather slim.
Mrs. Julia Lutyens died last Thursday and was buried Satruday.
Ask Father McGuire what he thinks of the Carley Band of Prophetstown.
We forgot to mention in our last items that Mr. Jno. Fee received on the Christmas tree at Mr. Wahl's a large silk plush album with many things from the larger boys of his school at Deer Grove.
