SHOWER FOR MR. AND MRS. MARSHANGS IN GENESEE TOWN

West Genesee, Ill., Jan. 28 – (Special) - - A shower was held at the Charles Mock home on Thursday evening honoring the newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Marshang who were married Jan. 21. There were 46 present to enjoy the happy time and an oyster supper was served. Mr. and Mrs. Marshang received a number of beautiful presents.

Mr. Marshang is a son of John Marshang of Jordan township. The bride was formerly Miss Bessie Mock. The [bride] is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chas a Mock of Genesee.

The young people are highly esteemed by all who know them and their many friends extend best wishes for a happy future.

Mr. and Mrs. Marshang will move March 1 to a farm in Jordan Township which the groom has rented.
