Tampico Tornado - June 2, 1883
Fred Dusing, a german farmer living eight miles north of Sterling, committed suicide by shooting himself in the head last Saturday. No cause is assigned for the rash act. The family has been singularly unfortunate - the daughter some time ago took poison with fatal effect, and a son met with a violent death.
