TAMPICO TOWNSHIP HAS A BANNER ENLISTMENT
Tampico Young Men Respond To Their Country's Call And Flock To The Colors
Tampico has done her duty for Uncle Sam and her country by sending out to date 24 young men who have volunteered for service in war and this is said to be the highest record according to population and number registered in any township or city to the entire county. Hats off to Tampico she has done her duty and then some. Big war meeting banquet for the soldier boys and a Gods Speed for all with a hearty well done is the encouragement given its young men by the citizens generally. The following is the roll of honor for Tampico and vicinity.
