BANK TO HAVE NEW QUARTERS
The First National Bank has purchased the brick block occupied by Booz's bakery and owned by Willis BROWN at a reported consideration of $5,000. It is the intention of the bank officials to remodel the building, install modern, up-to-date fixtures and also build a modern burglar proof vault, It is planned to have the remodeling done some time this summer and have the new bank quarters ready for occupancy in the fall. The new location is right in the heart of the east side of Main street and is considered one of the good business locations of the city. Increasing business with inadequate room to properly handle the new and larger quarters. When the remodeling is done the bank will be located in fine quarters where the increased business can be handled with much more convenience both to patrons and to the clerical force.
