Mr. DARBY learned the trade from the late E. H. McGRATH and John  STROUSS, starting in 1914. He served overseas during World War I and on his return worked in shops in Dixon, Polo and Mt. Morris for some time before returning here to work for Mr. STROUSS. He started his own shop in 1939.
