Hello Denise,
I traveled to Dover and Princeton 2 years ago but only had the afternoon to go to the genealogy library and the cemeteries.

My relatives moved from Williamstown, Vt to Dover/Princeton area in 1835 but I am finding very little written about them.

James Smith 1764-1838 died 3 years after reaching Dover. Buried in Dover.

Oramel A. Smith 1805-1844 died at age 38 and buried in Dover (James' son)

Alby Smith 1790-1841 married to Sally Hyde

(The following are Alby's 3 sons)

James Hyde Smith 1815-1879 married to Delia Alden 1823-1897

Edwin Graham Smith 1821-1906 (teacher and minister)

David Howard Smith 1828-1863 married Fanny Ruth Smith

If you have any info on any of these men, I would be thrilled.

Thank you for your time. I'm also looking for a simple map of Bureau Co. but that also has surrounding counties so that I can figure out where all of my family settled. I'm willing to pay for it but don't know where to find a copy.

Sincerely
Diane
