I thought I'd give a little "personals" regarding the women shown in the Fun See Club photo recently posted in the People Places Things section.

Myrtle GRAHAM, I believe is the daughter of Edwin A. & Irene nee FOY EMMONS who married Howard GRAHAM and later moved to Modale, IA and then to Danbury, IA. Myrtle and Harold GRAHAM had 3 children: Darrell, Chester & Mervyn. Chester was born in 1912 and died in Tampico 1947. Mervyn was born in Tampico 1915 and died in Tampico 1934,

Minnie EMMONS, would be the sister of Myrtle GRAHAM. Minnie married Claude D. LOVE on September 18, 1915; thus, if this is indeed the Minnie EMMONS in the photo, it sets the photo to have been taken before 1915. The fact that Minnie and Myrtle are standing beside each other gives strength to the relationship. Minnie LOVE died in Tampico in 1951 and she was born in Tampico January 1, 1883. Minnie and Claude were married in Princeton.

Elsie BAILEY - Sorry I have nothing.

Mabel RUCK - Not sure; I believe this is Mabel the sister of Nina RUCK (see below.)

Ida PALMER - Not sure

May ALLEN - Possibly dau of Frederick and Nettie nee HEIN ALLEN who married a MITCHEL and whose sister was Edna ALLEN who married Joseph GLASSBURN.

Ruby BEALER - Not sure, however there was a Ruby SCOTCHBROOK who moved into Tampico from Stockton, IL to teach 1st grade in KEMP's school. (May also be the sister of Jennie SCOTCHBROOM - see below).

Darlene WEST - Probably the daughter of Dewitt and Anna E. WEST; and sister of Darlene WEST and step sister of Maud DARATT foster daughter of Dewitt and Anna. Maud married Bradford M. STOWELL November 12, 1884 in Whitesdie Co.

Nina RUCK - Probably the Nina RUCK who, in 1905, was a school teacher in Tampico. Nina was a sister of Mabel RUCK (see above.)

Jennie SCOTCHBROOK - Probably the Jennie SCOTCHBROOK who married Tracey DENISON in Rock Falls September 24, 1913. If so, this moves the picture to have been taken before 1913. Jennie may be the sister of Ruby BEALER (see above.)

Ethel HOWLETT - Probably the Ethel HOWLETT, daughter of John R. and Mary nee BERGE HOWLETT, who married McKenzie "Mack" PARENT August 26, 1917 in Tampico.

Please feel free to comment and correct.
