I have often refered folks to the IL Trails/Whiteside website hosted by Chris Walters. They are now a national organization under the name of Genealogy Trails.

Here is an update and link to the Whiteside site: http://genealogytrails.com/ill/whiteside/

this story on both the county sites. I would have had this done this
month - except for a sprained wrist that put me out of commission for
about a week... Thanks also to Jennifer Sanders who sent in several
lisitings for the various cemeteries...

Enjoy your summer..

Where do you think they lived? What county? What town? Most BRIGHTMAN families in Whiteside county lived in Erie, Fenton or Fulton according to the 1930 census. Here are the BRIGHTMAN's in Whiteside:

What time frame are you searching? Have you tried Genealogy Trails/Illinois? http://genealogytrails.com/ill/ They cover a much larger area than we do. Hve you done a site search here to see if we have any info - such as bios, burials, obits, etc? It would be helpful if you were more specific. You should also start a NEW message topic which would include the surname your are researching.
Thanks,

Denise
