Gregg,
I visited your website. Glassburn or Tribune? Are you descended from our J. W. Glassburn? If not, I'm missing the point of your post. . .

I did note your other post that you have a copy of the David Glassburn book and your offer to do look ups. We do have a copy of the book at the TAHS museum as well. Since you have that book, does that mean you descend from these Glassburns? May I ask, which line? Thanks for "dropping in."

Gregory Glassburn
Born: February 13, 1955
Died: June 01, 2008

Services: A Memorial service will be held at 4:00pm Saturday June 14, 2008 at our Webster Street Chapel.

Visitation:

Homeward Bound. Gregory K. Glassburn, 53, Kokomo, passed
away from a sudden heart attack on Sunday, June 1, 2008, at St.
Joseph Hospital Kokomo. He was born Feb. 13, 1955, in Kokomo,
to Shirley Martin and the late Edwin Glassburn.
He graduated from Kokomo High School.
Better known as Mark Tribune, Greg was an accomplished music
singer, song writer and producer. He recorded close to 80 songs in
Nashville, Tenn. He has performed with such legendary artists as
Johnny Cash, Confederate Railroad, Narvel Phelps, Terry Stafford,
Mike lunsford, T.G. Shepard, Dell Reeves, Jackie Ward and Steve
Warner. The accomplished producers he worked with were Ray
Pennington, Harold Shed, Mike Shockley and Steve Scruggs.
He worked with many accomplished musicians in Nashville, Tenn.,
along with his band of brothers known as the Alamo Band. His
recent accomplishment was in new artist development to help them
aviod stuggles that he had to overcome in the music buisness.
He is survived by his daughters, Amber and husband Daniel
Welcher, Kokomo, and Mandy Glassburn, Kokomo; mother,
ShirleyBogan, Kokomo; sisters, Susan husband Roger Shuck,
Sharpsville, Debbie Glassburn, Kokomo, Bridget and husband Gary
Estep, Kokomo, and Pam husband Jerry Abney, Kokomo; brothers,
Tim wife Sandy Glassburn, Russiaville, David wife Cora Glassburn,
Kokomo; grandchildren, Morgan Collins, Dylan Collins, and Bayley
Luckey; family friend, Peggy Nay and several nieces and nephews.
Gregory is preceded in death by his father, Edwin Glassburn;
brother, Buddy Glen Glassburn; Nephew, Jessup Glassburn; and
great-Nephew, Alex Cree.
Services are 4 p.m. Saturday at Ellers Mortuary, Webster Street
Chapel, with Pastor Charles Riley officiating.
There will be a tribute to Gregory on the George Riddel Morning
Radio Show on WCJC 99.3 from 6 to 11 a.m. Saturday.
Arrangements were entrusted to Ellers Mortuary, 3400 S. Webster
Street, Kokomo.

Memorials: In lieu of flower donations may be made out to the American HeartAssociation.
