I have a lady, Virginia Denvo (Denbo?) Payne Nease, who is looking for an old school chum. Virginia is celebrating her 92 birthday today, so it would be great if we could surprise her and connect her with her buddy. She is looking for a lady named Marjorie Bettner, graduated THS in 1937. Both are from Ohio, IL, but Marjorie came to live in Tampico with her dad, who supposedly had a barber shop in Tampico in that era. If you have any information, could you please pass it along to me. Thank you!

The Old Gazette's offer some hints for Marjorie.

She came to Tampico for visits, 1929, 1930 and 1941.
1929 she came from Ohio, IL.
1930 she came from Princeton, IL.
1941 she came from Chicago.
The good thing is that a search for SSDI turned nothing, but then she may have married. Her father's obit is in the Gazette Index. 1944.

Thanks Jack,
I had seen the obit for her dad. Joan Johnson noted that her married name is Anderson and last known residence was a nursing home in Kansas. Virginia thought her birthday was Dec. 8. If that is true, then I did not find her on the SSDI either. If that's not her birthdate, then she may be listed on the SSDI. Thanks for checking on this.
