Hello all,
As some of you know, the website was shut down most of today. I have apparently won the battle, but not the war with Citymax. The Village of Tampico has been paying for the website for the past two years (this will be year 3) which I am extremely grateful for. Citymax is located out of Canada - Payment was sent by the Village the end of August. Citymax has not received it and suspended the site. After an all-day battle via emails (of course there is no phone number available for them), I have convinced them to extend the grace period until the end of the month. So, keep your fingers crossed. . . .

P.S. As long as I am financially able, the site will always be availble, no matter what.

For those who wrote or called - I thank you for your words of encouragement and support. I NEEDED it!!

Hi Denise,
Thank you so much for getting back to us. We had our accounting department investigate this account and it appears that we had received payment and this was pending in our system. I am not certain why your account was not updated and we do sincerely apologize for any stress this has caused. I have added a free month of service to your account and also took the additional step of creating a notification for your next annual payment. We do not normally do this but I have set a reminder to follow up personally and see that you are notified well in advance of your next payment date, which, due to the free month, will be October 17, 2007.

Again, we do sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused and as Darralyn pointed out do very much appreciate your business and all of the positive feedback you have provided. Should you require anything further please do not hesitate to reply back to this ticket, stating 'Attn: Lynne or Darralyn' in the subject field.

Best regards,
Lynne

CityMax.com

I have to say, there is NO better deal out there for web space - I would have hated to have to change venues for this site. I'm glad everything has worked out and we even got a FREE month out it. Not sure my heart can take much more "excitement" but there is a happy ending, so I won't complain.
