The Tampico Area Historical Society encompasses parts of Whiteside County and Bureau County in Illinois. Focus is on Tampico, Hume Twp., Hahnaman/Deer Grove, & Prophetstown in Whiteside County & Yorktown & Thomas in Bureau County.

Hello all,
I have just been notified that my ISP will be very intermittant for the next three - four days as they upgrade their system. So, please bear with me, if I cannot respond as quickly as I would like. This will have no affect on the website to visitors. I won't be able to access it during the upgrade outages. Sorry. I'll get on as quickly as possible. This will include my access to email as well. Thanks

Hello all,
I am really sorry - I have not been able to post anything to site for several days. Our ISP is having a lot of problems in conjunction with Citymax (our web space provider) having problems of their own. I have lots to add -it is a fluke that I am on now and I am really hoping that it will upload to site.
