I just learned that my gg uncle, L.L. Emmons, operated a station on the underground railroad. A cousin told me that there was a stop not far from his house in Oregon, IL.
Is anyone familiar with his involvement in the underground railroad?
Thanks, Barb Chandler

Barb, Have you checked with the Oregon Historical Society? They may have book(s) on the Underground RR.
