Hi!
I am searching for facts about a relative that went to USA in 1881. His name was Anders Nilsson, born on March 6th 1863 in Glimminge, Bolshög parish in Sweden.
He got onto a boat in Malmoe April 28th 1881 and was heading for Chicago, Illinois.
My father remember that his father had kept an old letter from him, but this letter is unfortunately gone.
Any kind of help would be of great value!

Patrick- You may want to try researching marrige records in Il- possibly Cook Co. and surrounding counties for Chicago- I do not remember the web address for the site you need but maybe someone else can post it.
