The Tampico Area Historical Society encompasses parts of Whiteside County and Bureau County in Illinois. Focus is on Tampico, Hume Twp., Hahnaman/Deer Grove, & Prophetstown in Whiteside County & Yorktown & Thomas in Bureau County.

The officers of Tampico High School Alumni met recently and completed plans
for the annual reunion/banquet to be held Saturday, July 14 starting at 5:30
at Deer Valley Country Club. The buffet menu has been selected and
entertainment for the evening will be Karaoke. The honorees are 65, 60,
50, 40 and 25 year graduating classes. Invitations will be mailed early in
June, and address corrections are requested. For more information, please
