I am trying to find out who Nettie Quinn was married to and any information about the family. All that I know is that in 1934 she lived in Yorktown at the time of her brother Alexander Thompson's death. She also had a brother James that lived in the Tampico area. Her first name may have been Henrietta. Other siblings were William Thompson and Jennie Burns not living in the area.

Thank you,
Patty

Age: 59
Estimated birth year: abt 1871
Relation to Head of House: Wife
Spouse's name: Thomas J
Occupation:
Immigrated 1873/Naturalized

I also see in prior Msg Board "Alexander/Mary Thompson" @ http://www.tampicohistoricalsociety.citymax.com/board/board_topic/23882/175749.htm there is a Kelly Quin (one "n") listed as a pallbearer for Alexander.
Helpful?

Thank you, Denise, I am sure this is her. I think Nettie and Thomas were married in Kane, Co. in 1892. I found them when searching for her mother's marriage to William Mock. I wasn't sure if it was her and with the information you found I am certain this is the right Nettie. According to the 1910 census records, her mother, Henrietta, stated that she immigrated from Scotland in 1871. I found that Henrietta married William on Feb. 25, 1882 in Kane Co. so if the Thompson family went to Tampico between 1877-1879 something had to have happen to Alexander, Sr. before 1882. I am not finding this Thompson family in any of the 1880 census.

Thanks so much.
Patty
