It was indeed a pleasure to hear from Mr. Richard Hinton who's genealogy includes the WHIPPLE family(s) of Bureau County, Illinois. My g-g-grandfather was Darius SUTHERLAND(b. 1828). His brothers and sisters married WHIPPLES. Surnames include ANDREWS, BRITTON. REVES, REEVES, OLDENBURG, OLDS, WICKS and WHITTLE (to name just a few). Richard had mentioned that he had posted some WHIPPLE family pictures and I plan to do the same, soon. WONDERFUL! Thank you - Richard and site lady - Denise!
