Deb, Could you be a little more specific, please? Where would we go to download the tool? I went to the Family Search site, but couldn't find any info on it. Perhaps I am looking in wrong place.

It is at familysearchindexing.com. I subscribe to Dear Myrtle's email and she suggested we all volunteer. My original goal was to do 200 names a month. However, it does not take as long as I thought and can do 50 a day easy. Once you are signed on and have downloaded their indexing, it is easy to download a batch to work on and I always just chose to do the one they give me. I have worked on Virginia and Oklahoma to date. There is a blue cursor that follows along so you know you are on the correct line so that makes it alot easier. Occasionally this is alittle off but still you are in the approximate area of the line you are transcribing. I find it rewarding and knowing that others will also be transcribing and proofing my reading makes me secure in knowing that if I made a mistake someone else is catching it. Hey - that was just too cool! You're right - it's nothing to pop out 50 lines on the census page. Thanks for letting us know about this!
