While I know that Elizbeth and James Clark did go to Burlington Iowa about 1836 I cannot find them after that so am searching in other places. They had two girlswhose names I do not know, my grandfather Thomas C Clark and two other boys Andrew and Marion Clark. anybody recognize this family and think they might have migrated to Illinois wherethey started from please email me. thanks for any help.

Here is a James in Burlington - but I have no way of knowing if it is your man. If you could give more details, date/place of birth, spouses names of his children, etc. it would be helpful. Do you have access to Ancestry.com?
