The Tampico Area Historical Society encompasses parts of Whiteside County and Bureau County in Illinois. Focus is on Tampico, Hume Twp., Hahnaman/Deer Grove, & Prophetstown in Whiteside County & Yorktown & Thomas in Bureau County.

I am sorry to take so long to respond - my ISP was down most of yesterday. Yes! We have information on the Cantlin Family. Have you done a site-search from our Home page? That will direct you to all we have on-line. There is a family plot in the Tampico Memorial Cemetery. We have obits listed on them as well as photos of their headstones. There are also several articles in our "Articles & Local History" section. All of the above can be found by doing a site-search. There is also a photo of
Jacob Cantlin
I will check the historical museum to see if there is more information.
