I talked with a couple people who knew this area today, and two different people told me that what was known is the Rickel store was located near the corner of Town Hall Rd and Ridge rd. This is about a half mile north of rt 92 on Ridge road. I remember seeing a big decaying building there within the last 20 years or so, so I am thinking that was it.

Also the cemetery south of rt. 92, (I think it's still Ridge road) I visited today. It was originally named Union Cemetery est. 1862, and is now known as the Kemmis cemetery. There is a schoolhouse directly opposite, so I don't know if that is still once considered the Rickel school and cemetery at one time or not.

I'll have to check our plat maps to see if Rickel is the same as Kemmis -

It might be...looks like it is in the same section 15.

Would anybody know about a little abandonded cemetery south of Rt 92, turning off the highway by Weber's Beef? I do not mean the chapel area at Webers, but taking a road that would fork to the left.

I drove down that way, but could not see anything but weeds. I guess I will have to ask someone that lives near there.

Unsure if bettei is still looking for information - the cemetery is Bowman-Bollen Cemetery and I believe it's on Weber family land. It looks to me that most of the headstones have been moved from their original locations, especially based on this photo posted online-Bowman/Bollen Cemetery
