john foy, b.6-10-1820,Napoli, New york, died Leon, IL, 7-24-1876. Father is William Foy, b. Vt., 1788, died Prairie City, IL, 1-16 or 6--16, 1869. William Foy married Ruth Morril, daughter of Sargent Morrill in 1811 or 1819 in Napoli, NY. Ruth Morrill b. 1790 VT, died 9-21-1864, Prophetstown, IL. John foy, my gr grfa., married Rachel Demaris White, 5-1-1844. Rachel b. 12-8-1825, Rushford, NY, died Smith Center , KS, 3-23-1900. Siblings of William foy were: Ruth foy;benjamin foy;jonathan foy;samuel foy. All of these foys resided in Napoli, ny, before moving to IL.
I am trying to identify the precedents of william foy and his siblings, and anything at all about the siblings. Summary: William foy produced john a. foy; john produced edward martin foy; ed produced my dad, ralph ledingham foy, sr.; leading to me, ralph ledingham foy, jr. Ultimately, I am trying to i.d. and locate my current day cousins. thanks much. rlfoyjr@gmail.com, antioch, ca, 94509. end

Ralph,
I am one of your cousins, descended from William Foy. He is my 4G grandfather. I have also hit a wall when it comes to going back beyond William. I had heard that David Foy, our cousin, also listed within this forum, may have found a possible connection to William Foy's father. Not sure.

Either way, I have a lot of information on the Foy family -images, records, etc. Much is located on my website at www.SandersFamilia.com. Got to the website and you can search for William Foy and use the descendents tree to see the entire family.

I would enjoy sharing details with you... I can be reached at Brian@SandersFamilia.com.

Regards
Brian
