Does anyone from Foyland out there, eg., Brian Sanders, David Foy, etc., Tampico...know anything of them? We seem to be at a dead end in going above William and any of his siblings. My grpa, Edward Martin Foy, always told the family that his people at some point came over from Ireland. Also, I need to hear from some of you guys coming down from Bill's kids: John; Daniel; George; and Bill Foy, Jr. Where and who are we today? Daniel Foy Daniel was born Napoli, Cattaraugus Co., NY July 31, 1822. He married Mathilda F. Williams Hancock Co., IL, December 1, 1842. Daniel died March 6, 1899 Tampico, Whiteside Co., IL, at 76 years of age. 1.1. Sarah Ruth Foy Sarah was born in Newkarket, Jefferson Co., TN April 10, 1844. She married Ancil Almarion Burdick Whiteside Co., IL, January 3, 1882. Sarah died April 16, 1930 Tampico, Whiteside Co., IL, at 86 years of age. 1.2. Austin T. Foy Austin was born Hume Township, Whiteside Co., IL Ca 1846. He married Lucinda A. McKenzie Hume Township, Whiteside Co., IL, May 1876. Austin died September 2, 1914 in Minot, ND, at 68 years of age. 1.2.1. Bertha Mandana Foy She married Clayton Burdette Teach. 1.2.2. Maude McKenzie Foy She married James Selkirk. She married Pat Kelly. Maude was born Tampico, Whiteside Co., IL January 9, 1877. She married John J. Greenman Tampico, Whiteside Co., IL, January 23, 1900. Maude died August 29, 1959 in Sutter, CA, at 82 years of age. 1.3. Charles Wesley Foy Charles was born Leon, IL March 30, 1848. He married Mary G. Jones Hume Township, Whiteside Co., IL, June 27, 1875. Charles died August 9, 1928 Tampico, Whiteside Co., IL, at 80 years of age. 1.3.1. Infant Foy 1.3.2. Clarke Foy Clarke was born Hume Township, Whiteside Co., IL Ca 1880. He married Ruby Pierce Princeton, IL, November 18, 1916. Clarke died February 18, 1927 Chicago, IL, at 46 years of age. 1.3.3. Walter B. Foy Walter was born Hume Township, Whiteside Co., IL Ca 1886. He married Maud Harrington Princeton, IL, February 23, 1916. 1.3.4. Ralph Emerson Foy Ralph was born Hume Township, Whiteside Co., IL October 18, 1889. He married Hazel M. Breed Yorktown, IL, December 25, 1912. Ralph died May 1975 Tampico, Whiteside Co., IL, at 85 years of age. 1.4. Morrill Foy Morrill was born Hume Township, Whiteside Co., IL 1850. He married Minnie R. VanDrew Whiteside Co., IL, March 28, 1878. Morrill died 1929 Tampico, Whiteside Co., IL, at 79 years of age. 1.4.1. William Foy He married Grace M. Hunter. Myrtle died 1960 Tampico, Whiteside Co., IL. 1.5.2. Mabel C. Emmons Mabel was born Hume Township, Whiteside Co., IL June 28, 1877. She married Homer H. Burns Tampico, Whiteside Co., IL, February 15, 1899. Mabel died October 27, 1954 Tampico, Whiteside Co., IL, at 77 years of age. 1.5.3. Minnie I. Emmons Minnie was born Tampico, Whiteside Co., IL January 1, 1883. She married Claude D., Dr. Love Princeton, IL, September 18, 1915. Edna died July 1971 in Lincoln, KS, at 89 years of age. 1.8.3. Clarence LeRoy (Dick) McKenzie Clarence was born Tampico, Whiteside Co., IL 1883. Clarence died 1961 Smith Center, KS, at 78 years of age. 1.8.4. Mildred McKenzie She married Andrew K. Caskey Morrison, IL. Mildred was born Tampico, Whiteside Co., IL 1884. Mildred died 1949 Smith Center, KS, at 65 years of age. 1.8.5. Leslie McKenzie Leslie was born Tampico, Whiteside Co., IL 1885. Leslie died 1887 at 2 years of age. 1.8.6. Arthur B. McKenzie He married Cora I. Smith. Arthur was born Tampico, Whiteside Co., IL 1886. Arthur died February 11, 1984 Pomona, CA, at 97 years of age. 1.8.7. Fred died October 1981 Smith Center, KS, at 90 years of age. 1.8.10. Nettie Charelette McKenzie Nettie was born Tampico, Whiteside Co., IL January 12, 1897. She married Unknown in Sheffield Twp., Bureau Co., IL, February 21, 1917. 1.8.11. Frank Lewis McKenzie Frank was born Tampico, Whiteside Co., IL 1900.
