I am the grandson of John Burdette Miller and the great, great grandson of Dr.Burdette & Emma LaDue. We are looking for any information that might be available on Dr. and Emma LaDue. I came across the obituary of Emma Submitted by Melva Taylor. Any information would be helpful.

Burdette's obit is on our site as well.
Also, the Sterling Gazette is showing the following:
LaDue, B.E. fire destroys barn and contents 20 Dec 1943;2;2
You can contact the Sterling Library (see our TOC > Whiteside Contacts) and they will send you a copy of the article. If you have done a site search, you will find about 63 references to the LaDue families. I'll see if there is any other info in their files at the historical society.

Are you the person who requested photos of their cemetery stones some time ago? I took photos of the various LaDue's in the Prophetstown Cemetery and sent them to someone, but don't remember who. If you want any, I still have them on my computer.

I saw an inquiry on the message board about LaDue's. I had an inquiry one time wanting photos of the cemetery markers on the LaDue/Rhoades family. I have a whole bunch of them, but here is the one of Dr. Burdette E. LaDue. Also,will send Emma. If you want, or your person wants any more, let me know.

Riverside in Prophetstown. There are a whole bunch of LaDue family members there.

I believe that you also asked me about putting the Prophetstown Cemetery information on your web site. If you would contact Jim Casson (Betty Glassburn's brother) and ask him about that, if he would like to share, I believe that he can put the info on something that you can plug into your computer and download all of it rather quickly.
