John C. Paddock is my GG-grandfather. Fred Paddock is my
G-Grandfather, and Paul Newton Paddock is my Grandfather.
I know some information about these people.

Here is what I cannot find. Eunice Newton Married Fred Paddock, and her mother is Amelia (or Parnelia) Newton who was Married to Paul Newton from MA. I know that Amelia was
married before Paul, and her name was Mrs. Cole. She also had two sons by that marriage: Austin (antin) and Clarance born in NY, then came to Illinois.

I cannot find any information on who Amelia was before she married "Cole" or what was her husband full name. I also would like to know about Austin and Clarance. Eunice Newton was born of the marriage to Paul Newton.

Thanks!

Wow, this is great!

I should have put dates, and I am sorry. I get going with information and it's hard to stop those thoughts while I am typing. LOL

I know Amelia married Paul Newton about 1857 in Whiteside.
at that time she had two sons. Clarance and Austin, already living at that time. There place of birth is listed in NY (from written census of Whiteside while living there). I know that Paul Newton was originally from MASS. Austin Cole would have been born abt 1850 and Clarance abt 1854. Eunice Newton was born abt 1863.

Yes, I found the BIO on John C. Paddock, and you are correct about him being my Great Grandfather. He left Whiteside sometime before 1905 and lived in Dakota County, Minnesota with his wife. I am not sure why, but apparently there was something that happened. Was it something scandelous? (grin) Or just to travel with family to a new area? Seems kind of interesting that he would leave such a good place to live to go to Minnesota.

I did not look at the rootsweb entry for Newton! I will try there!

Thank you everyone! My grandfather was Fred and Eunice Paddock. Fred was the son of John C. Paddock.

All of these relations are becoming so alive! It's wonderful!
