We would be interested in any info. or pics anyone may have on the old North Hume School, located on P-town road, just west of the Tampico road.My father bought the property in 1960 and moved into the school-house shortly after. We have some info.,but would like more. We only have a couple pics, and would like some showing the belltower.Any info. would be greatly appreciated.

Janet Goodell or P-town Historical Society has submitted the following:Hi Denise,I was reading your message board today and saw a North Hume School request. Here is one that we have of that school. We have lots of rural school photos or our area, but not much on N. Hume. There is lots of information as to who went to the various schools in the regional superintendants office next to Neuman High School in Sterling. Also, Arlene Oncken in Morrison has done a lot of research on the rural schools of Whiteside Co.Janet Click on photo to enlarge
