Hallo my name is Jacob Meek,

I'm living in Drachten the Nederlands.
I did not know there was a Meek family in the USA.
It's nice to have a oversea family. I sow on internet that original the Meek's are from Ireland is that correct.
An if so do you know more about that site of the family.

Greatings Jacob Meek and his wife and two doghters

Jacob Meek and family,

Greetings from the USA. As for the origin of our ancestors, I am not sure of the location. I have always heard that ours came from England, but recently I have read that there could have been a Scandinavian connection. Also, I have read that some of our people left their home in England, went to the Netherlands for a time before moving on to the new world. It would be nice to hear more from you. You can reach several folks interested in the Meek and/or Meeks surname at meeksmystery@yahoogroups.com. Would you drop us a note?

Thanks,
Emmett Meeks

Just a correction on prior post: Irving Osborne Shultz rather than Irving I. and Anna Maria is not Tehart, can't tell what her name is too blurry. I have found John Henry Shultz in Princeton and his wife but have no leads on their offspring.
