I have been doing research on the Johnson family buried in Union Cemetery. Since I don't have that cemetery index up and running on the site yet, I am going to post the info here for the search engine to catch. A couple of them were originally listed in the TMC cemetry! I have made corrections as I go:
CHRISTIAN D. JOHNSON (S/O Rasmus & Hannah Hanson Johansen) Christian D. JOHNSON. He was born on 14 Jun 1852 in Østofte Sogn, Maribo Amt, Lolland, Denmark. Arrival 1867 [38]. He married Achsa A Hayes. They were married on 09 Jan 1879 in Fairfield Twp., Bureau, Illinois, USA. Residence 1880 in Fairfield, Bureau, Illinois, United States [39]. Submitted by Wm. Bonner. UPDATE: The above information has been posted on the Union Cemetery Index. To date - I have transcribed up to the surnames beginning with "T." I have only had time to post their names. I have not had time to fill in the other data as yet. You can email with requests until I get them all posted. D
