I was looking for something and ran across a genealogy of Henry Peters. http://www.tampicohistoricalsociety.citymax.com/f/Peters_Stearns_Waite_Brown_Dow.pdf
Under "Generation #7" there is a note that Henry Dow is related to Tony Dow and that Tony's grandmother lived in Davenport, Iowa, but Lois (whoever that is) didn't know her name.
Her name was Eva Jorgensen Dow and she was married to John Stevens Dow. Their son, John was Tony's father.
If whoever compiled the genealogy would like more information on that line, feel free to contact me at lindaastoddard@yahoo.com. Eva and John Dow were my grandparents on my mother's side.
