I live in Australia and am trying to trace my great grandfather the only information that I have is that he was a native of Devonshire appeared to arrive in Australia about 1865 where he lived for some time before marrying a Mary Murphy, they had 4 children. Mary died in 1879 he then married my great grandmother Louisa Smith they lived in and around Albury NSW

Oh my 90210! - Here's the 411
We are a long way from Australia. Did they ever come to the USA? Illinois? Whiteside County? If not, you are better off checking the Surname or Location msg boards on Rootsweb. New South Wales is a bit out of our juristiction for research.
