The Tampico Area Historical Society encompasses parts of Whiteside County and Bureau County in Illinois. Focus is on Tampico, Hume Twp., Hahnaman/Deer Grove, & Prophetstown in Whiteside County & Yorktown & Thomas in Bureau County.

Hello everyone,
Once again I am the acting Chairperson/woman/man for the Tampico Area Historic Preservation Advisory Committee. I need your help. There are 3 openings on this board. Anyone in Whiteside Co. can apply (must be appointed by Mayor). We are open to anyone with an interest, with an emphasis on someone with architectural background/interest. If you would like to join us or have questions, please contact me or Mayor Kris Hill for more details.
